Samsung Announces 10 Million Galaxy Notes Sold To Date
« on: August 15, 2012, 03:43:22 PM »

The introduction of the new Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet wasn't the only piece of big news out of the company during their presentation in posh Lincoln Center in New York this morning.   The company also revealed that in the nine months that the original Galaxy Note 'phablet' has been on sale that they've sold a total of 10,000,000 of them worldwide.  Quite an impressive accomplishment if you consider that most tech pundits actually wrote off the 5.3 inch tablet/phone as a 'too large' phone that wouldn't find buyers wanting when it first was introduced.   On the contrary, many have found the large size to be the ideal combination of telephony capability with advanced tablet features that make note taking with the S-Pen a superior experience and web browsing more usable than on a typical smaller phone display.   With the 2nd generation Galaxy Note expected to be introduced in a matter of weeks we think we'll see even bigger sales numbers in the future.
