Galaxy Note 10.1 Gains S-Pen Holder In Redesign
« on: May 23, 2012, 06:36:29 PM »

Way back at CES in January we were privy to the new Galaxy Note 10.1, the big brother of our beloved Galaxy Note 5 inch phablet.   Shortly after however the company leaked that it was delaying the device in order to outfit it with a quad core processor...rumored to be the latest Exynos from Samsung which should easily trounce the popular Tegra 3 in horsepower.   During the initial viewings of the tablet one of the comments heard far and wide was the disappointment that the design did not include a slot for the S-Pen to be stored.   In light of the fact its much smaller 5 inch brother did have such an S-pen holder it seemed a bit odd that a device over twice the size wouldn't afford the same convenience.  Well it seems the company has heard your cries and in addition to the new Exynos processor the new Galaxy Tab 10.1 will also sport a built-in S-Pen slot for your convenience.   So in the end, perhaps it's a good thing they waited.   Now we're looking forward to putting the new top of the line Samsung tablet through its paces.
