As we found out yesterday during the Galaxy Note 10.1 introduction, one of the stand out features of Samsung's new tablet is the ability to multitask with more than one app on the screen at once.  Well today we have a demonstration video of the 10.1 doing just that thanks to SlashGear.  As you can see it's a pretty impressive feat...with full motion video running on one side with a gallery on the other as well as email and S Note functions available.

There are limitations at this time though.  While email is available as a multiplane app...gmail is not and the apps that can do this bit of magic are limited to Polaris Office, S Note, Video Player, Internet, Gallery and Email.   We're hopeful...and we're sure Samsung is working on it...that other apps will be added to the list.   This kind of multi-screen and app functionality on the same screen can be a real boon to productivity and it's something we're sure to see a lot more of on the Galaxy Note 10.1 and perhaps other tablets in the future.  Samsung's doing it first though...so take that Apple! ;)
