Samsung Sells Three Million Galaxy Note IIs In First Month!
« on: November 03, 2012, 12:59:46 PM »

When the original Galaxy Note came out just over a year ago, the tech royalty were skeptical that it would sell.  In fact if you look back at the initial reviews there was almost universal condemnation over the size of the Galaxy Note.  Too big to be a phone they said.  Too small to be a tablet.   Well as well all know now the pundits were wrong.  The Galaxy Note sold not 1 or 2 but 10 million+ units in its first year of release and the buildup to the release of the Galaxy Note II was as exciting and as suspenseful as that of any product that a certain company in 'Cupertino' might hope for.

So now that the Galaxy Note II has been available in some countries for just over a month just how well has it been selling?  How about 3 million in its first 37 days.   Not bad!   And this is BEFORE the Galaxy Note II is widely available in the United States...one of its prime markets.   The original Galaxy Note took a full 90 days to hit the same mark.   With this kind of success it seems almost a certainty that the Galaxy Note II will outsell its own 1st generation record of 10 million.   Perhaps we can hit the 20 million mark before the Galaxy Note 3 introduction next year?   What do you think?
