Screen Protectors
« on: August 23, 2015, 02:43:58 PM »
So...who uses a screen protector on their GNote 3, 4,or 5? I've been using one but took it off because the scree looks more sharp and clear. I use a case on my though. Any thoughts?

I have always used screen protectors. Recently, I started using the tempered glass screen protectors and they are wonderful. When some metal measuring spoons fell on my phone, the protector cracked, but my phone was safe.

I used to as well. I've had my Note 3 for almost two years, and I'm getting ready to upgrade, so I took the screen protector off(because it was pretty scratched up, and to test the screens durability).

I have noticed a few fine scratches on the screen since then, but nothing noticeable at all, unless you're looking for it.

I like the tempered glass screen protectors, the ones I use are only  0.15mm thick so they are flush with the side of the phone. And the home button is slightly raised above the glass. Cheap insurance, and no noticeable visual quality loss.

Here in italy I use this Glest screen protector bought at the local "chinese" mega store. Payed 5 euros and still doesn't have any scratch on it after 1 year ;) it is 0.26 mm

Note 3 is gorilla glass protected, so I don't use any screen protectors. In the first time of using I didn't trust gorilla glass, so I tested several screen protectors.  They all did a good job but weren't needed.

In the last two years my phone had many accidents, but the screen is clear as first day.

I think it is a way of trusting to the gorilla glass, see how it protects and learn more about it

Don't like using a screen protector. But my usage and environment demands it.
