Note 4 Heats up frequentlu

My Galaxy Note 4 often heats up even though no apps are running in the foreground. Also, the CPU consumption is 0% . interestingly even though there's no CPU usage, there is a significant lag when using or switching a app.  Amy ideas?

My partial heating problem was resolved by removing the cover.  But it does exists not as bad as before though.  I am expecting it to be one the apps will keep you posted.

I had the same problem a while back.  I did a factory reset and problem was resolved. Rouge app somewhere.

I've been on Android platform for the last 6-7 years. Every device was plagued with similar over heating  and short battery life issues. It's time to give in to Apple/iPhone products. Android is still not a mature platform when compared to Apple in terms of basic usability.
