Is there a way to avoid the lollipop upgrade on note 4. I do not want to upgrade unless it fixes the call dropping and heating issues.

My Note 4 with Verizon updated Tuesday morning and since then has completely frozen twice to the point I had to remove the battery.  So far have found nothing positive with the upgrade.

Update - I followed advice frequently given to do a factory reset. That helped immensely. This was over a month ago.

Lollipop F***ed my phone big time.  My battery drains 40% faster than it used to.  It messed up the interface completely.  T Mobile

No fixes on call drops or overheating.  It actually heats up more than it used to after upgrade to lollipop.

I did downgrade my note 4 N910F.
Lollipop was bad. I had less of free RAM memory, some of the apps was not possible to install and if, they could not start. And offcourse couple of restarts during the week I had too...
Crazy stuff.
Now I am back on 4.4.4 and there is only one think what could be better. Battery life.
Most of the battery is using System Android....and I have no idea why. Months ago was the battery life on the same firmware better...Any idea?

If you don't mind trying Custom Roms and rooting your device, try Omega Rom. I have used that for the last number of Samsung Devices and would not want to miss that anymore. Great Battery life... Can really recommend it.
